After the M3 Max, Meizu has launched the M5 smartphone in China. The budget handset has been made available in two RAM/ storage bundles, and the 2GB RAM/16GB storage. The big highlights of the smartphone are that it offers VoLTE support, hybrid dual-SIM slot, octa-core processor, and a 13-megapixel camera at this price range. This is the successor of the Meizu M3, and the company has skipped a numeral to launch the Meizu M5 smartphone directly. Management of Nigerian singer, Kiss Daniel have slammed Hit Factory and Nasco Entertainment for their ineptitude and failure to meet up with their signed obligations after the singer announced on Instagram a few moments ago that he’ll no longer be in Cameroon to headline the ‘Invasion Concert’ tonight. His manager, Louiza Williams, has this to say ‘The event organisers couldn’t meet up with their obligations. We gave them several chances to do the needful but they failed.’ ‘It’s really painful because we arrived from Dubai and went straight to the departure to check-in for the Cameroon trip only to realise that things weren’t straight. They pleaded with us to wait for 30 minutes. We ended up waiting for over five hours at the airport, yet nothing was done. They just couldn’t meet up with what was agreed and signed.’

At about 9.00am Sunday morning, troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE deployed behind Bakassi Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp, Damboa road, Maiduguri, on security duty, intercepted and killed a male suicide bomber who had attempted to sneak through the troops’ inner parapet towards the IDP camp. A statement by Army spokesman, Col. Sani Usman said the vigilant sentry sighted the bomber and laid in wait until the suicide bomber came close. The sniper instantly shot and killed the terrorist as he tried to force his way to the western flank of the IDP camp fence. Unfortunately, the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) vest strapped on the bomber failed to detonate. Consequently, a combined team of military and police Explosive Ordinance Device (EOD) have been called to safely detonate the IED. The situation at the camp and the general area is said to be calm. As of yesterday the Transport Canada has announced three different recalls for the Polaris Slingshot . The 2016 Slingshot specifically is being recalled for a problem with the brake pedal while units from model years 2015-2017 are being recalled to address problems with fuel line routing and swingarm design. The recalls have only been announced for Canada but the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not announced any similar recalls. However, Polaris has posted safety bulletins for all three issues, suggesting U.S. recalls may be coming. The safety bulletins suggest the Slingshot SL and SLR variants may also be affected. According to Transport Canada, the brake pressure switch on certain 2016 Slingshots may have been over-torqued during production. Over time, the brake seal may leak, increasing the amount of brake pedal travel and reducing braking performance. A 28-year old man in Hoima District, Uganda, Anatoli Kiiza, has asked the government to legally authorize him to test his locally made weapons. Kiiza states that he has manufactured and upgraded a missile which he can test if the government permits him to do so. He claims to have 'researched on the internet' how missiles are made in countries like USA,China and North Korea. “I have manufactured and upgraded a missile. I can also manufacture a rocket launcher,” he said. Kiiza previously made attempts to fabricate a machine similar to a missile in June 2012 but Police arrested him.
